We earn a commission on some purchases
Most product links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something within the qualifying window that Amazon sets, Amazon pays us a small percentage of that sale as an advertising fee. That fee is paid by Amazon out of its own margin. It is how the site covers hosting and the time spent writing.
Your price does not change
You pay the same price whether you reach Amazon through a link on this site, through a search engine, or by typing the address in yourself. An affiliate link adds nothing to your total, does not remove a discount you would otherwise get, and has no effect on your Amazon account, your delivery, your returns or your warranty.
Links may be redirected
Buttons and product links here often point at an address on our own domain first, which then forwards you to the Amazon product page. The redirect exists so the referral is attributed correctly and so we can repair links when a listing moves. You arrive at the same Amazon page either way. Once you are on Amazon, you are on Amazon’s site under Amazon’s terms, Amazon’s privacy policy and Amazon’s cookies, none of which we control.
What our recommendations are based on
Our write-ups are desk research. We work from the manufacturer’s published specifications, the data attached to the retail listing, and the pattern in public buyer feedback. We do not physically test, benchmark, build with or own the hardware we write about, and we publish no benchmark figures of our own. Any measurement quoted on this site came from the manufacturer or from the listing. The about page describes the method in full, including its limits.
Commission does not buy coverage
No brand, manufacturer or seller pays us to be included, to be left out, to be placed higher, or to have criticism removed. We are not sent free samples or loaned hardware. Nobody outside this site reads our copy before it publishes. A commission rate has never decided which product we cover or what we say about it, and where listing data looks thin or self contradictory we say so on the page instead of smoothing it over.

Amazon is the only affiliate program we currently take part in. If that changes, this page will be updated before any new links go live. We do not publish sponsored posts, paid placements or paid guest articles.
